Description

From 1720, Swansea smelted half the world's copper, the same metal that shapes every still at Penderyn. Icons of Wales No. 12, Copperopolis, is our tribute to that history. A sweet red wine finish bringing orange blossom, peach and cherry to the nose, caramel and honey on the palate, and a dry, cocoa-dusted finish.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Floral and fruity. Scent of orange blossom, notes of peaches, cherries and orange peel. Sweet vanilla and honey, with a light spice of dried fruits. Palate – Luscious mouthfeel. Rich sweetness of caramel and honey. Bouquet of dried fruits; raisins, figs and light oak spices. Finish: Dry oak remains, with a citrus sweetness and a dust of cocoa to the end.
